Ever since her days on “Hogan Knows Best,”  Brooke Hogan has been a constant blip on the gossip radar screen.  And yesterday she was hard at work on her own show in Miami, Florida.

The “Brooke Knows Best” babe sauntered around South Beach filming scenes for her reality show along with a couple of girlfriends.

Stopping into a plethora of shops and boutiques, Hogan and her cohorts moved on to Samba Sushi for an afternoon meal.  And Brooke looked hot as usual in a strapless pink babydoll dress with tan UGG boots.

Later this month, Miss Hogan is scheduled to make an appearance at the 82nd America’s Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit, Michigan.  She’ll Join Brandy, Mitch Ryder, Vickie Winans, and Harlem Globetrotter Meadowlark Lemon.

Taking advantage of the beautiful Miami weather yesterday, Brooke Hogan grabbed a couple girlfriends and headed out for some retail therapy.

As for Brooke’s brother Nick, dad Hulk Hogan recently told press that jail time was exactly what the doctor ordered.  “He was a good kid before, he’s a great kid now.  He’s not the same man he was when he went in there.”

He continued, “He was on a roll.  He was a young professional driver. He had the show going, and it all got real busy, and then when he went to jail, he got stripped of everything.  He got stripped of clothes, of watches, he got stripped of his identity, and he found out what’s important in life.  He knows what’s real, and what’s not real.

After pleading no contest to reckless driving charges stemming from an August 2007 crash, Nick entered the jail on May 9, 2008 - walking out of the detention facility for the first time on Tuesday morning (October 21) at 12:32 AM.

According to sources on the scene, Bollea arrived at the family home at approx 12:50 AM, finding the residence decked out in Halloween decorations. There were also plentiful shouts, cheers and loud music heard coming out of the Hogan home.

Just prior to her brother’s release, Brooke wrote on her MySpace page, “I can’t even tell you, as a sister, how exciting this is for me! Nick and I are like best friends…and I can’t believe how long I’ve gone without him.”

She added, “I just can’t wait to see my Nicky! I’m gonna make him every kind of food you can possibly think of! He’s been living on bread and potatoes so far and I know some Mac-n-Cheese is gonna hit the spot! LOL”

Brooke Hogan is counting down the minutes until her brother Nick Hogan gets out of jail in Tampa, FL tomorrow following a 166-day prison sentence for reckless driving.

The blonde reality star just posted a little note about it on her MySpace Celebrity page.

Here’s a little tidbit:

“I cant even tell you, as a sister, how exciting this is for me! Nick and I are like best friends…and i cant believe how long Ive gone without him,” she writes, mentioning that some people have not been kind about the car accident that left his best friend John Graziano requiring extensive lifelong medical care. “Some people wish terrible terrible things on us and say the the most nasty comments that I can’t even repeat on here… It really hurts.”

And she ends with: “ok. Back to the happy stuff! …….I just can’t wait to see my Nicky! Im gonna make him every kind of food you can possibly think of! Hes been living on bread an potatoes so far and I know some mac’n’cheese is gonna hit the spot!”

Brooke Hogan has become extremely diverse over her brief career. She’s gone from supporting reality star, to musician, to disappointing musician, back to reality star with her own show.

But she apparently has a little too much on her plate, because Hogan (whose real last name is Bollea) recently turned down an offer from Playboy to show her fake breasts in their magazine (she denies they’re fake, but those who watched all the seasons of Hogan Knows Best can attest to the fact that video evidence doesn’t lie and 19-year-olds’ breasts don’t look like that).

“Brooke just didn’t feel that it was the right time,” her rep tells Usmagazine.com. “It’s not out of the question for the future, but we’ll have to see.”

Strike Miami at the Dolphin Mall scored some star power Monday night as Brooke Hogan hosted a celebration to honor its NYC sister locale Bowlmor Lanes’ 70th anniversary.

No word on whether the Miami local and star of VH1 reality show Brooke Knows Best was able to break 100, or whether the guys kept their minds out of the gutter.

When we on VP candidate Sarah Palin from reality star Brooke Hogan, Brooke’s naive response of “Who’s that?” initially echoed in our hearts as a poignant reminder of the bygone, pre-Palin media era. You can imagine our confusion, then, when Hogan appeared on today’s Howard Stern show and as the subject of the now-notorious Defamer video came up, she coolly denied that we’d ever asked her about Sarah Palin in the first place:

Still, her tenuous grasp on the memory is understandable, as proven when Stern and Co. continue to quiz her about presidential candidates (asked Obama’s first name, she carefully answers, “‘Barack’ or something?”), forcing an overwhelmed Hogan to cry out, “There’s too many friggin’ people in office!” Perhaps that would explain the blank she draws when asked the name of the current Vice President? The answer, dear Brooke, is “Dick Cheney,” and it’s as plain as the nose on your face (which, if you’re not careful, Mr. Cheney will shoot off)

Brooke Hogan stopped by to promote the latest season of “Brooke Knows Best” and said she couldn’t figure out why she’s so popular with Vh1’s older demographic. Howard said he and Beth O were fascinated by Brooke’s life, particularly a recent episode where Brooke took a fan to the prom. Brooke laughed that the incident was “so awkward.” Howard then asked Brooke why her friend Ashley doesn’t dress sexy, so Brooke explained that it was just Ashley’s style: “She’s a bookworm!”

Robin asked Brooke if Howard was too old for her, and Brooke replied, “I don’t think age really matters.” Howard wondered if Brooke’s opinion held true for her mom’s 20-year-old boyfriend, and Brooke admitted it did not – but she doesn’t really talk to her mom right now.

Howard noted that Brooke’s dad’s girlfriend kind of looked like her, but Brooke claimed that while certain picture’s of her dad’s girlfriend have given her pause, they don’t resemble each other “in real life.” Howard asked Brooke if her boobs were real, but Brooke avoided the question (“What do I look like to you?”) and promised to be more forthcoming in the future: “[A Playboy pictorial] is something to think about…[but] I don’t know if I’d go full [nude].”

Taking full advantage of the beautiful weather in southern Florida, Brooke Hogan was spotted splashing in the water with her roommate Glen yesterday (September 14).

The “Brooke Knows Best” hottie was turning heads left and right as she pranced around in the ocean, sporting a white bikini top with a red bottom, showing off her “Redemption” lower back tattoo.

In related news, Brooke recently told press that though her parents’ divorce has been tough, she’s had some amazing friends to help her make it through the rough times.

“I just have to constantly surround myself with friends — you don’t need drugs to get through the hard times when you have people that make you laugh. They make light of all my bad situations. When my parents divorced, my friends were all like ‘hey, at least you can move out now.’”
