news BROOKE HOGAN TALKS ABOUT HER NEW SHOW, HER NON-EXISTANT RELATIONSHIP WITH HER MOTHER AND HER BROTHER

Regarding her new show “Brooke Knows Best,” Hogan says: “You know VH1 likes the Hogans. So they were like ‘we don’t want to lose you guys.’ I thought it was going to be Nick that gets the spin-off and then they ended (up) coming to me.”

Regarding the idea that participating in a reality show is directly related to the struggles her family has experienced in the past year, Hogan says: “Well I don’t think a guy holding a camera can ruin a marriage, or a family. I think it is just stuff that lies beneath. We didn’t think it would have such a negative effect if anything went bad, but I guess that is what you get for throwing yourself in the limelight.”

Regarding her relationship with her parents, Hogan says: “Dad is good. Mom — there is none right now. Not at all. Everybody is like ‘you know this is just a phase’ and stuff and maybe it is, but I am like realizing wow this is not the woman I looked up to my whole life. I had no idea that this was part of her personality.”

Hogan goes on to talk about her mother’s relationship with a teenager: “Yes, I went to school with him, he was in the grade below me. Yeah he was in my grade school, he was in the grade between Nicky and I. I don’t agree with it and I don’t condone it. She doesn’t really know how much it’s ruining out relationship with her and really damaging it.”

Regarding visiting her brother Nick in jail, Hogan says: “I can see him through a TV screen three times a week for an hour.”

Hogan talks about filing her visits with Nick for her show: “No, we’ve never done that but its not to say cameras weren’t in there. I cant believe how much these people can come in and film you visiting in jail and take tapes off of private phone call conversations. Phone call conversations got released and they decided to pick out the worst parts. I wish a miracle would happen and he would get out today. Believe it or not he is a little solider. He’s staying very positive.”

Hogan talks about her personal growth through all of the turmoil: “I feel much more aware, because now I know the truth about everything even though it might now be good. At least I know.”
